Love at work
Love at Work: Oct 4 (online)
What happens if we allow ourselves the gift of bold, radical imagination with respect to our work lives? If we allow ourselves to imagine a loving workplace, what does that look and feel like? Taking it a step further: How might we envision an economy with love as its aim? And what first small specific steps can I take today toward a love-based engagement with work, money and business?
A recent book called Beloved Economies: Transforming How We Work, invites us to radically reimagine what is possible if we replace conventional thinking about economies with a deep love — the sort of love we experience when we touch interbeing.
Contemplating freely in this direction may set us free to be motivated and energized by possibility. We may then orient ourselves towards things that may seem "crazy" based on conventional thinking, but which could very well represent the future — or at least a future.
After all, we are the economy.
Impulse evenings are a 75-minute format to meditate together, share shortly on the topic, allow for self-reflection and exchange in break-out groups. This next one is Tuesday, 4 Oct 2022, 17:15 - 18:30 CET (Central European Time) and we’ll reflect on bringing love into the business realm.
Led by: Jay Kaufmann (Berlin/Germany) & Bruce Campbell (Colorado/USA).
